Important Updates for South Calcutta Girls College

South Calcutta Girls’ College admission 2023 for UG programs will begin on July 01. The last date for submission of application forms for UG programs is July 15, 2023. Interested candidates can apply online on the official portal. The merit list for UG programs will be released by July 20 and admissions will be completed by July 31, 2023.

South Calcutta Girls’ College, also called as SCGC, is located in Kolkata, West Bengal. The college is affiliated to University of Calcutta. At undergraduate level, South Calcutta Girls’ College offers B.A. Honors and General course in 11 different specializations along with B.Sc. Honors and General course under 5 and 6 specializations respectively.

For applying to Honors courses, students are required to have obtained 50% aggregate marks or more in their 10 + 2 studies with a minimum 45% marks in the subject / related subject opted for the honors course.
Candidates seeking admission into the General courses are required to have pass marks in aggregate in their 10 + 2 board examination.

South Calcutta Girls’ College B.A. and B.Sc. Admission 2023

South Calcutta Girls’ College offers the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) (Honors and General) course under 11 different specializations. Application forms can be filled online only.

Candidates can register on the official website of the college.
After registration, login with application number and date of birth.
Fill the application form carefully and correctly.
Submit the application form after preview and note down the application number.
Application fee is INR 250 and can be paid online.
Take a print out of the application form and money receipt of the application fee.
Required documents for verification (Original) –
Admit Card of 10th standard or equivalent exams (for age verification).
10 + 2 Board examination mark sheet
Challan or Money receipt for application fee
SC / ST / OBC Certificate of West Bengal (In the name of the applicant)
