The Shree Jagveer Singh Chauhan Smriti Mahavidyalaya was established with the primary aim of providing education to the students of the rural and undeveloped areas of the District of Etah. They consider excelling the overall skills of the students. They help the students to become expressive in order to express themselves in a way that could add to the benefit of everyone. They also help in shaping the personality of the students by making them more social, cultural, aesthetic, intellectual, spiritual and moral. The chief aim of every student in the college is to seek knowledge. The teachers also assist their students in doing so, making them fit enough to face social challenges and also fulfil their personal requirements.

- Facilities: The institute offers excellent infrastructural facilities to the students. The total area of the institute is very large which has a very large (about 2520 sq. Mtr.) playground for the students. The institute has about 12 classrooms, a multipurpose hall, a multipurpose room and other infrastructural facilities which are well suited enough to aid the students. There are labs for various subjects that includes a language lab, psychology lab, science lab, education technology & media lab and a work experience lab. There is a library that has a vast and updated collection of various books and periodicals.
