Established in 1960, SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce is a South Indian Education Society, a charitable institution located in Nerul Navi Mumbai. Candidates can apply for under graduation as well as post-graduation courses via online mode from the official website of SIES College of Arts, Science, and Commerce. Application process is elaborated below step wise:

Candidates need to register themselves by creating an account on the official website of the college.
Log in with the created username and password and then click on the link “Application form 2023”.
Fill in all the prompted personal as well as academic details in the form.
Candidates require scanned copy of the following documents in JPG or PNG format to upload at the time of form fill up:
1. Marksheets of all academic qualifications (10 and 10+2 marksheets for UG students and all the previous semester marksheets for PG students)
2. Candidate’s recent passport size photograph with light background.
3. Candidate’s scanned signature with white background only.

The Know-it-all of the college

What I Liked

Faculty and their best behaviour towards the students
Committees that make you explore your limits
The courses and subject that we opted from different department as well

What I didn’t like

Canteen, cause they don't let you be there for longer period of time
Not fixed classrooms so you have to run from one to other for lectures
Miscommunication between different streams

Remarks:

Eligibility for the course being an open caste person the persentage that I was accepted at was 88% that's the 3rd list of the acceptance. Application fees was 100 with all the prints. Reservation is for casts. The frequency and timing of exams with my perspective is perfect. Admission process can be made easier if provided a whole outlook of the process on their page.

Just create memories and let people critique.

What I Liked

I liked the overall ambience of the college.
I liked how every single subject was given equal importance whether it be an arts subject or science or even commerce.
I liked how the extracurricular activities such as the Gymkhaana, Value Lab, Rotaract, and other subject associations were given importance along with the academics.

What I didn’t like

I think the library could be improved by letting students go inside the actual library book stacks and pick the books they want. That could be given some thoughts.

Remarks:

The admission process was availvle both offline and online. All the courses had its own cut-off marks. But the committee didn't consider people from 12th science coming into the arts field while checking th eligibility.

What I Liked

Faculty of the college are experienced and qualified
The association are in college serve towards community service

What I didn’t like

Management can sometimes be a little hard

Remarks:

There was no entrance exam. Last year I got a psychology major at a percentage of 81%, there was a cut-off for psychology. The admission process was offline except for the Mumbai University form the process was smooth and completed in 2 days

Which college is better for BMM - SIES Sion or Wilson College?

For a BMM degree, both SIES Sion and Wilson College are good options. Both of these institutes have decent faculty members. You can choose either of these two institutes according to your convenience. However, you should note that the BMM fest of Wilson College, i.e. Polaris creates a lot of buzz among students.

Which is better, IIIT Vadodara CS or SEAS ICT PDPU CS?

I have some friends at IIIT Vadodara and PDPU, so I think I can give you some information about them.

CSE at IIIT Vadodara started 3 years before PDPU.
PDPU has a higher expense and houses a vast campus. Since CSE was recently established, the facilities would be less compared to other colleges. College life at PDPU is more of a luxury with a high fee.
If you are genuinely interested in learning CSE and can ignore your own campus life issue then you should choose IIIT Vadodara.
Moreover, PDPU is not well-known outside Gujarat. Whereas IIITs are institutes of national importance and the brand value does offer certain perks.
