Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College (RJC), a NAAC accredited college, came into existence in the year 1963. It is an Arts, Commerce and Science college affiliated to University of Mumbai. It offers degree courses at UG level and PG Diploma courses. The admissions to RJ College are done as per the norms of University of Mumbai.

Admission to the seats of UG courses is strictly done on the merit of 10+2 marks in qualifying examinations.
Candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria according to the admission norms of University of Mumbai in the course they are seeking admission into.
Admission seekers must have applied in online mode on the University official website after the announcement of 10+2 results under the ‘Application Portal’ and register themselves for the courses. The application process includes Pre- Admission Enrollment and Online Application.
Candidates seeking admissions under management quota were required to apply directly to the college. Candidates applying for PG Diploma need to satisfy eligibility and apply directly.
RJ College is a linguistic minority institution, hence reserves 50% seats for Hindi speaking candidates in its degree courses.

It’s compulsory for BA and B.Sc course candidates to have studied English in 10+2 and any modern language or classical language.

RJ College MA and PG Diploma Admission 2023

The college offers MA in Entertainment, Media & Advertising and PG Diploma in 5 specializations. The minimum eligibility to apply is a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field. Admissions are direct subject to availability of seats. Selection in MA is based on the performance of eligible candidates in a personal interview conducted by the college, whereas PG Diploma admissions are based on First Come First Serve basis.

Candidates can download the application form for PGD courses from the college website and submit it to the college office by paying the requisite fees.

RJ College Application Process 2023

Application to all courses in Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College will be submitted through Online Admission Portal of University of Mumbai. To make an application, candidates must first fill ‘Pre-Admission Form’ followed by submission of application form along with ‘Pre-Admission Form’. Applicants must be submitted by following the given steps:

Visit the official website of University of Mumbai and click on the link for “Pre- Admission Online Registration”.
Applicants should then proceed to “Apply Online” and register by entering mandatory details in the relevant fields and “Register”.
A verification code and a link will be sent on the mobile number provided by the applicant.
Log in with the verification code, fill in given particulars of the online application form and attach a recent passport size colored photograph as per the requirement.
Submit the application fee.
The registration fee of INR 150 has to be paid through a DD drawn in favor of “The Finance and Accounts Officer, University of Mumbai” payable at Mumbai.
Submit the print of application form along with necessary documents in the college.

What I Liked

The peaceful campus and the respective staffs
Faculty is have much experienced and skillfull
The management and the crowd of college is sober and decent

What I didn’t like

The campus of college is too small it should be more bigger as compared to the strength of the college
At place which the college resite is not a good place
Ig there's no other dislikes.......................

Remarks:

After my hsc i applied for 5 colleges which was KJ somaiya, Pillai, MCC Mulund.. And RJC in which currently I'm studying... But the reason why I choosen this college first a fall a traveling is big reason bcz the college is just opposite of railway station it was too easy for me bcz I travel through Local train The eligibility for my college you should have 60 % in your hsc examination and from 2024 there is new rule the college will accept CET examination for addmissions and I'm not familiar with the cutoffs

jhunjhunwala - a strange good experience

What I Liked

i like the faculty of the college from day one. overall support and understanding with students, every subject teacher is aware bout every students performance through out the year and besides helps you out develop better skills for your career
the events hosted by the college arent that big like malhar but its so good to see so many students coming up frm clgs here , events liek refection, karma, kshitij
classrooms are air conditioned and they are improving the infracture day by day

What I didn’t like

the campus, its more of suffocating i mean theres not much space but sufficient place as compared to school students, degree and masters
the college is easy accessible as its next to railway but itself has cons as the track nd trains are loud sometimes

Remarks:

the college provides us with simple notes and as per our convience the faculty understands our problems on lecture timings, the syllabus and the teaching the admission process was easy and done online overall

Rj college life in nutshell

What I Liked

The faculty is really good in the college
They provide us with many types of activities
Provide us with practical way of teaching

What I didn’t like

Campus is really small tho and has very less area
The canteen is always filled with students though no one eats

Remarks:

Admission process was really easy All we did is filled form of the university mumbai university and took up intu went to college and submitted all the required Documents like aadhaar card mark Sheet And. Then fill the college from on its personal website.And we got the admission
