Nabadwip Vidyasagar College is a renowned educational institution located in Nadia district, West Bengal. The college was started on March 5, 1942, as a branch of Calcutta Vidyasagar College. It is a UGC recognized institute and offers undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science. Nabadwip Vidyasagar College is affiliated to University of Kalyani and has been accredited with a ‘B’ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Nabadwip Vidyasagar College offers undergraduate level Honors and General degree courses in the disciplines of Arts, Science, and Commerce. The honors subjects for the BA Honors program include Bengali, English, Hindi, Political Science, Sanskrit, Philosophy, Education and Economics. Subjects offered under B.Sc. Honors include, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Environment Science. B.Com Honors program is offered with specialization in Accounting and Finance.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these programs is a pass in H.S. or equivalent exam from a recognized board or university. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of aggregate (best 5 subjects including English) marks, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria for the courses applied.

Key Points for Admission:

Candidates who have not studied the relevant subject for the previous qualifying exam may apply provided they have a minimum aggregate of 55% marks.
Candidates belonging to the Schedule Caste or Schedule Tribe community taking up Honors are allowed 5% relaxation in marks regarding the minimum eligibility criteria.

Nabadwip Vidyasagar College accepts applications from eligible candidates for its various courses through online mode of application. Applicants must fulfil the eligibility norms set by Kalyani University before filling the online application form. The detailed process of application through the official website of the college is as follows:

Prospective candidates may start with the application process by clicking on the “Apply Now” button.
The applicant will then be redirected to a registration page where all particulars must be filled and the captcha (Mathematical Answer) completed before clicking on the Sign-Up button.
Upon successful registration, the applicant will receive an SMS from the college with a unique Application Number which must be kept for future references.
Follows next is the application process which entails filling up the online application form with all the requisite information including choosing the degree applying for.
A candidate is allowed to apply for a maximum of 4 courses in a single form.
After filling the application form, candidate shall click on the Save button and then upload his/her recent passport size photograph before submitting the final draft.
Applicant will now be redirected to the payment page for application fee payment.
Candidate may use credit/ debit card or net-banking modes for the purpose.
After payment of fees, applicant must take a print out of the complete application form and fee payment receipt for future correspondence.
