KJ Somaiya is one of the best institutes for BMM and PGDM. It offers a good chance to its entire student in the BMM course. One of the many advantages of studying BMM in KJ Somaiya is the extra advantage you will get during placement. The college offers placement facilities for BMM students in addition to that they have an internal quota for PGDM students. Some of my friends studied BMM at KJ Somaiya. According to them, it was not something that they expected, rather the course overall was disappointing. Here are some of the reasons why they felt that way. The coordinator for the BMM course is Vinay Nandy and he has quite a reputation in front of the students.  He is known to practice favoring his selected students.  He also cut off portions from the industrial visit fees.  He has a degree of Ph.D. in archaeology.  He doesn’t also teach that well and during the exam, he throws difficult questions in the paper.  He says he doesn’t believe in spoon-feeding thus he doesn’t teach mostly.  He has some strong connections with the nearby industry which benefits the students sometimes.  Even the assistant professor can teach better than him from psychology to mass communications and advertising.  Joining KJ Somaiya hasn’t been beneficial for them. They regret their decision and doubted themselves as students. Some consider choosing KJ Somaiya College of arts and commerce but for BMM it is the worst decision in their academic career.

I have a few friends from KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce, so I can give you some insight into their BMS course.  KJ Somiya is not a good option if you really want to pursue BMS for knowledge and not just for the sake of a degree. The teaching experience for BMS at KJ Somiya will not be satisfactory.  If you prefer knowledge over a degree, then you should go to some other better colleges such as MCC in Mulund. But, if you just want a degree in BMS then you can opt for KJ Somaiya. KJ Somaiya has a huge campus. This is advantageous if you want to bunk lectures and have fun sometimes.

To take admission in the KJ Somaiya Arts and Commerce BMS program, you need to follow the following steps: Eligibility Criteria: Firstly, you need to ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. For BMS program, you need to have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. All colleges have a cut-off score and an entrance exam before giving the admissions. KJ Somaiya also has the same criterion. You can still excel in your subjects and field of interest from any college if you have the motivation and urge to study and work hard. Finally, it depends on you and your hard work and not simply the reputation of any institution.

KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce:- It is a premier autonomous educational institute located in Mumbai. The institute offers various courses, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the disciplines of Arts and Commerce. Admission Criteria: The eligibility criteria for pursuing admission for BMS is 10+2 from a recognized university and the total fees required for pursuing the BMS course are INR 71,755. Placements: The highest CTC offered at the institute is around INR 27.50 LPA, however, the average CTC is INR 10.05 LPA. Few of the major recruiters at the institute are Angel Broking, HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries Ltd., Reliance, ICICI Prudential, Kotak Mahindra Bank, etc. KJ Somaiya College of Science and Commerce:- KJ Somaiya College of Science and Commerce offers UG, PG and Ph.D. courses to its students under various specializations. The admission in UG and PG are merit-based, while for Ph.D. the students must qualify the UGC NET exam. Admission Criteria: The candidates seeking admission in this institute for the BMS course need to have a minimum of 45% marks in commerce stream from a recognized university. The total fees required for pursuing the BMS course are INR 70,845. Placements: According to the placement statistics the average CTC offered to the students is around 10.7 LPA and the highest CTC is around 15.5 LPA. The top recruiter at the institute is Puma, Quikr, PwC, Jio, Capgemini, LG Electronics, Deloitte, TCS, HDFC Bank, etc. KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce is an old college with a good reputation. Whereas, KJ Somaiya College of Science and Commerce is a relatively new establishment. Other than that, there is no such difference between the quality of education in both these colleges.

Nearbuy recruits at 7 MBA programmes nationwide. They hire product and project managers from Tier - 1 schools, and sales, marketing, and operations managers from other colleges. They recruit from over twenty business schools in total nationwide despite visiting only seven. But those students apply for the jobs off-campus and may have to interview in the company's offices if they are chosen.

The required percentile to get into JBIMS varies every year and is dependent on the difficulty level of the entrance test. For OMS or all-India seats, the process is straightforward. You take the CET/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/CAT/XAT exams and apply with your score. Students who score high in CAT and XAT exams usually go to IIMs and XLRI, leaving students who applied with the remaining exams. To have a chance of getting into JBIMS, you need to score a percentile of at least 99.98 in any of the exams.
