Goa College of Engineering, Goa commonly known as GEC was established in 1967 mainly for providing technical education in the field of Engineering. Currently, the college offers UG in 7 streams of B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering), PG in 9 streams of M.E. (Master of Engineering), and 5 streams in Ph.D.
Admission procedure for the courses is done on the basis of merit & cut-off in the Entrance exams. For B.E., one has to qualify the GCET (Goa Common Entrance Test) entrance and for M.E, one has to qualify in GATE.

Goa College of Engineering Admission
It offers admission to B.E under UG and M.E under PG along with Ph.D. courses. Admissions in Goa college of engineering is based on cut-off obtained in GCET for B.E & GATE for M.E. respectively. Students are required to obtain a minimum of certain % aggregate marks in the 10+2 to become eligible for admission in B.E & complete UG course for M.E. For Ph.D., PG will be required.
