Fatima College, Madurai offers various UG courses viz. B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, B.B.A. and B.C.A under different specializations. The basic criterion to apply for any of the courses is the candidates should have passed 10+2 in relevant subjects.

Selection of the candidates to the UG programs is based on qualifying degree merit.

• Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on or before July 1 of the academic year while the upper age limit is 23 years.
• Candidates appearing in the final year examinations are also eligible to apply for the UG courses.
• Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC categories are awarded with relaxations and reservations as per the norms of State Govt.

Fatima College, Madurai offers Master’s degree such as M.B.A., M.C.A. and M.Sc. (IT & Management) along with M.A. in 4 streams, M.Sc. 6 disciplines, M.Com and MSW. The basic criterion to apply for PG programs is the candidate should have secured a Bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects with 50% marks from any recognized university.

Selection of the candidates to M.B.A. course is based on CAT/ MAT/ CMAT scores whereas MCA & M.Sc. (IT & Mgmt.) admission is done on the basis of TANCET score. Admission to the rest of the PG courses are merit-based subject to availability of seats.  

• Candidates with B.C.A/ B.Sc. (IT/ Computer Applications) are eligible for Lateral entry admission directly to the M.C.A. 2^nd year.
• Candidates applying under SC/ ST categories are granted a relaxation of 5% to the aggregate score of qualifying examination.
• Merit-based selection to this course is done through counselling conducted by the college.

Fatima College, Madurai offers M.Phil and Ph.D in multiple specializations. The basic requirement for admission to research course is the candidate should have a Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks in relevant subjects.

Selection of the candidates for M.Phil is based on merit list while for Ph.D, the candidates must qualify GATE/ UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET/ JRF.

• M.Phil degree holders are exempted from appearing in the written exam for Ph.D but have to appear for counselling and interview.
• Ph.D is available only in full-time mode
• Reservations are awarded as per the norms of the State Govt. and Govt. of India.

Note: Candidates who have qualified the GATE/ UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET or JRF or Research fellowship earlier but failed to enrol are also eligible to take direct admission in Ph.D programs.
