Candidate must have passed B.Sc Zoology or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Bachelors Degree with Medical and Allied Science, Bioscience and Life Science as compulsory subjects to apply for M.Sc in Zoology.

Candidates must have B.A Honours degree in Bengali or in comparative literature from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in honours papers to apply for M.A. in Bengali. Admission will be based on merit on the marks obtained in under - graduation.
