Sri Chundi Ranganayakulu is situated in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh and was established in 1999. SCREC is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University, Kakinada (JNTU).

Speaking of admission, SCREC offers B.Tech at UG level in five different streams. The college also offers M.Tech, MBA and MCA at PG level. Admission to UG program is done on the basis of AP EAMCET/JEE Main score. For securing admission in M.Tech program, candidates need to have a valid score in AP PGECET/GATE. While for MBA and MCA, the college accepts AP PGECET/CMAT and AP ICET scores.

The college also offers a Diploma in Engineering (Polytechnic) in four different streams for which the student has to appear in AP POLYCET Conducted by the State Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Students interested to take admission in the institute can go through counseling procedures in the respective courses as per eligibility criteria and score obtained in Entrance Examination. During the counselling, final seats will be allotted for admission.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from a recognized board.
Candidate should have qualified Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) or JEE Main exams.

Selection Criteria

Candidates who have qualified AP EAMCET have to appear for the counseling.
The final admission is only through counseling process based on the rank obtained in the entrance exam.
Candidates will have to select the college during the counselling.
Selected candidates will be informed through a call and they need to report at the college for admission along with their documents.
Applicants who have a valid score in JEE Main are also offered admission in the course.
Such candidates need not appear in the counselling.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum eligibility for MBA and MCA courses is a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% (45% marks in case of reserved categories) marks from a recognized university.

NOTE - For MCA, candidates must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 level.

Selection Criteria

Candidates are selected for admission through counselling based on the rank obtained in AP ICET exam.
During counselling, selected applicants have to pick SCREC as the preferred college.
Based on the rank and choice, seats are alloted.
After the allotment, applicants need to report at the college to complete the admission process.
Candidates who have qualified CMAT are given direct admission in MBA.

The application form for all the courses offered by college is available in the offline mode. To fill the form, applicants need to follow a sequence of steps which is listed as follows:

Visit the official website of SCREC.
Click on the SCREC tab available on the right side of the home page.
Again click on the link of “Click Here to Download Application Form”.
Now select Page 1 under the Download Application Form option.
Take a printout of the same and fill the form with all the essential details.
Also, affix a recent passport size photo.
Finally, send the duly filled application form along with the application fee of INR 100/- to the college.
