Chanchal College BA Admission 2023

Chanchal College offers admission BA (General) and BA (Hons.) at the UG level. BA (General) is offered in 10 specializations, while BA (Hons) is offered in 9 specializations.

The minimum eligibility criteria for taking admission in these courses require the candidates to have scored at least45% marks in 10+2 from any recognized board. Selection will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

The merit list for Hons. courses prepared by the college will be on the basis of:

If any candidate has opted for an honors course beyond his/her subject combinations at 10+2 level, then the merit list will be prepared on the basis of:

The application process for Chanchal College, Malda is online. Candidates should follow the subsequent steps:

Click on ‘Admission’ banner, carefully read the instructions displayed on the website and Fill-up the admission form online.
Click on ‘Confirm’ after filling-up the application form, note the form number which is displayed upon submission of the form and download/print the filled-up admission form.
Select ‘Click to apply for another subject’ If the applicant is willing to apply for some other Hons. Or General subject.
Make an online payment of the application fees of Rs. 100 and download/print the payment receipt.
Wait for the college to upload the merit list on the website. Meanwhile, keep visiting the website for regular updates.
Once the merit list is populated on the website, make the payment of the required fees mentioning your Application Form no.
Download/print the receipt of the final payment and visit the college along with the admission form, fees receipts, self-attested photocopies and originals of the following documents for verification purpose:
- 10^th and 10+2-mark sheet along with the passing certificate.
- Migration and Character Certificate.
- Caste certificate (OBC/SC/ ST), if applicable.
- Physically Challenged Certificate.
- Age proof/ Admit card of M.P. or equivalent examination.
- 5 Passport sized colored Photographs.
- Medical Certificate.
Once the provisional admission is done after verification of the eligibility, the candidate should fill-up the registration form in the college for final confirmation of admission.

Note: The Student can add additional subject in the same form only before making the payment. Once the payment is made, there is no option to add the additional subject but there is an option to delete a subject. Candidates failing to appear for counselling will not be considered for admission.
