Bonaigarh Degree College, Bonaigarh, in the District of Sundargarh was established in the year 1971 to cater to the needs of local people for quality college education, under active guidance of Sri Rajendra Kishor Panda IAS & S.K menon IAS  who served Bonai as sub-divisional officers. This is one of the oldest and premier non-govt. aided colleges for higher learning in Sundargarh. The college is affiliated to Sambalpur University and also affiliated to the council of higher secondary education, Orissa.

Library

The College Library has nearly 17888 books in general section, 3550 books in Reference Section and 1451 books in the Book Bank. 16 no. of national and 2000 International Magazines and preiodicals are subscribed regularly.

Hostel

Available for both boys and girls separately-

  • Adivasi Boys Hostel which can accommodate 40 boys in 10 rooms
  • Adivasi Girls Hostel which can accommodate 190 girls in 46 rooms
