Course Details

AIISH offers three UG Diploma Courses and for PG Diploma Courses. Admission in UG Diploma Course is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam and for PG Diploma courses, admission is based on merit and an interview. Selection is all India based. Candidates who are short-listed based on the merit-cum-reservation will be called for an interview.

The minimum eligibility to apply in Diploma courses is 10+2 from a recognized board and to apply in PG Diploma course, a graduate degree is required to be eligible for admission.

PG Diploma Course	Clinical Linguistics for Speech-Language Pathology	B.Sc/BASLP from an RCI recognized institution with at least 50% marks	Merit and interview based
	Neuro-Audiology
	Forensic Speech Science and Technology	B.Sc. with Physics/Mathematics/Electronics /Computer Science/Forensic Science/ Speech and Hearing as a major component at B.Sc. level OR B.E /B.Tech. with Electronics/Computer Science/Communication OR MBBS
	Augmentative and Alternative Communication (PGDAAC)	B.Sc. (Speech & Hearing) / B.A.S.L.P. or equivalent from any other recognized University. OR Bachelor in Special Education (in Hearing Impairment, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disability, Mental Retardation, Cerebral Palsy, Multiple disabilities) or equivalent from any other recognized university

Key Points:

The number of seats in all UG Diploma Courses is 25.
A preference of 2% will be given to candidates with graduate or post graduate degrees in UG Diploma Courses.
For PG Diploma Courses, the eligible applicants will be short-listed in order of merit which is decided based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (i.e., total marks obtained / total marks allotted x 100)
Candidates with clinical experience in the field of communication disorders will be given preference in the PG Diploma Course for Clinical Linguistics.
Students admitted in DECSE (HI) will be given INR 250 as a stipend for 10 months.
Candidates can also opt for admission in DHLS through video conferencing mode.
