AM Jain College, Chennai conducts UG and PG level degree courses in various streams like arts, commerce and science. These courses are undertaken in two shifts namely shift 1 and shift 2.

Under UG domain, the college conducts courses including 6 specialisations of BA, 13 specialisations in B.Sc., 7 specialisations for B.Com, BBA and BCA programmes.

For Graduates there are PG level courses including 2 specialisations in MA, 5 in M.Sc., M.Com and several research oriented courses in almost 4 disciplines.

  • Admissions to UG and PG courses considers previous academic records and eligibility norms as per the guidelines of the University.
  • Admission to UG courses of Arunai Engineering course is granted on the basis of TNCPEE Score.
  • Application forms are available in offline mode

How to Apply?

Applications are invited to eligible candidate in offline mode for admissions to the academic year. The process is detailed below:

  • Visit the college for prospectus and application form by paying application fee of INR 250 for UG and INR 300 for PG courses on all working days till 5 PM
  • Outstation students can obtain the form by sending a DD of INR 200 in favour of The Principal, AM Jain College, Chennai along with self-addressed envelope with postal stamps of INR 60 value
  • For different courses, different applications must be submitted
  • Note down the application number before submission for future communication
  • Enclose all the relevant documents related to education as well as any claims along with the application form

Scholarships by AM Jain College

AM Jain College offers financial aid in the form of scholarships to needy students who belong to reserved category. To be eligible for availing the benefits, a candidate must have at least 90% attendance.

  • Government scholarships are made available for SC/ST students
  • Government scholarships are provided to Minority community students (including Jain, Muslim, Parsi, Sikh, Buddhist, Christian etc.)
  • Management offers scholarships to under privileged students based on family income

Ques. Does the college offers hostel facilities to students?

Ans. Yes, there are separate hostels available for accommodating girls and boys. There are 3 in 1 rooms in both hostels accommodating 150 boys and 50 girls. Every required facilities are provided to students including security, mess, water and electricity. The hostel buildings are inside college campus only.

Ques. What all facilities are available for students in the campus?

Ans. AM Jain College provides infrastructural facilities to students that includes, men’s and girls hostels, library, seminar hall, conference hall, auditorium, playground, indoor stadium, health centres and several others.

Ans. Yes. The college provide scholarship to meritorious students. Candidates who have secured 90% and above in their XII Std board examination are eligible for 25% fee concession irrespective of the course they join. Apart from this, there are Governement scholarships which are for Minoritiy and reserved quota candidates.

Students should complete 12th and 10th standards with above 50%. Application forms are available at the college campus and online, there are no application fees in our college, and application dates end within 1 month.

Our college doesn't have a entrance exam for joining and Our college has a B.com, BA, Bsc and so many courses available in my college and our college have 2 shifts and the morning is government evening shift is private.

Remarks:

This is The Arts and Science College, So they don't have any entrance exams. This college is very special in Commerce because the student's conformance is very good within compare for other depts. But I love English literature because I like to learn English and thank you.

The admission process will be in both online and offline process. Choose the course that you want on the college site or visit the college and get your admission. there are no entrance exams for this college.

Remarks:

Cut off 65% enough direct walk into college and buy the application which course you want to fill the form and give to the application fees 500 rupees. I don't know about the details of the reservation benefit. I want the online application.

Admission process is simple no need to entrance exam and the application process is very simple and the cut off is different to all other which courses you choose but BCA cut off is 50 to 60 % is enough - If u complete any computer related courses and u can eligibility to BCA - you can find the office to collect the form and application fees is 200 to 300 - I want to see some quick admission to staffs but overall this is good

Remarks:

It's an accounting and finance course that I studied. It's mainly based on accounting for CA. I filled out the application form on the website. The application fee is 200. Date Feb 10th I need to tell you that there can be a reduction in the application amount because then only everyone can apply easily
