University College of the North (UCN) offers a wide variety of degree, diploma, certificate and post-secondary courses primarily in Education, Business, Technology, Nursing, and Arts. The UCN offers programs in small class intakes to encourage better personal interaction and promote simple classroom discussions. Students are also given a unique and practical hands-on experience while having access to the latest technology.

University College of the North invites international admission applications in Fall and Winter semesters. Admission applications by international students should be completed by April 1 for the Winter semester and August 4 for the fall semester. All International students will be required to pay an extra surcharge on their tuition fees.

University College of the North International Admissions

International applicants are accepted by the University College of the North UCN though it lies within the right of the college to limit the international applications per program. Only Fall and Winter intakes are open to International students.

All students are urged to get their documents checked and verified by the World Education Services (WES) before sending an application to UCN. International students are not eligible for financial assistance through bursaries or scholarships by the Government of Manitoba or UCN. Furthermore, international Students are considered under Regular Admissions only. They can not apply as special or mature students.

English Proficiency Test Scores for International Students

International applicants are required to demonstrate their English Language Proficiency through standardised scores. Students must have at least one of the following minimum score:

Visa Process for International students

International applicants are required to obtain a student visa to study in Canada. The college will provide the study permit to accepted students, then they can apply for the visa.

Students can apply for a visa by providing a letter of acceptance. Other documents required are:
