• As a Public Relations (PR) practitioner, students are strong written and verbal communicators with an understanding of the importance of effective communication between an organization and its public.
  • In this program, students will:
    • Develop the public relations and strategic communication skills needed to succeed in the fast-paced and diverse world of PR.
    • Gain hands-on learning experience via a 152-hour field placement and applied to learn projects involving industry clients in the second term.
    • Curriculum, including an emphasis on social media, is informed by a program advisory committee to ensure industry relevance and exceeds current provincial PR program standards.
    • Provides multiple networking opportunities for students to meet industry professionals.
