• Kinesiology is the science dealing with the interrelationship of the physiological processes and anatomy of the human body with respect to movement. As a graduate with a degree in Kinesiology, students may work as rehabilitation or physical therapist with specialized training in their branch of therapy, as a consultant designing sports equipment and researching ways to improve athletic performance, exploring health problems, or improving designs for artificial limbs for amputees. Or they may choose to earn their Ph.D. to research and teach in the field.
  • The general field of Physical Education and Recreation Administration may lead to several career paths such as planning, organizing and directing of sports and recreation programs, or creating and promoting independent leisure lifestyles for people who have special needs.
