This program prepares students for a career in the visual communications design industry. Students study Conceptual Thinking, Workforce, Studio, Client Interaction, Client-Centered Project, Curriculum, and Flexible Pathways in Year 1. In Year 2, students will apply skills to both advanced design courses, take on clients through a mentored lab, and are required to complete a 120-hour practicum. Students will learn advanced design tools, theory, and processes used in graphic design for print and web while working directly with public clients in a mentored studio setting. Also, they will learn:
