• Nanotechnology is creating many new materials and devices with a vast range of applications, such as in electronics, biochemistry, medicine and energy production. Following the investment by the Province, Alberta is fast becoming the Canadian hub for nanotechnology.
  • The Nanotechnology Systems Diploma Program - the first such diploma in Canada - will provide graduates with a knowledge of the many disciplines with an emphasis on electronics, biochemistry and material science, and the skills to operate systems and equipment associated with Canada's emerging nanotechnology industry.
