• MSc in Psychology at the University of Victoria is offered as a 2-years program by the Department of Psychology.

  • Students will become scientist-practitioner who uses research and evidence-based evaluations and treatments.
  • Students will learn practical job skills, like how to work in a cooperative research environment. 
  • The MSc program consists of a minimum of 21 units.
  • Students will engage with faculty-supervised research in one of the following areas:
    • Cognition and Brain Sciences (e.g., embodied cognition, memory, visual perception)
    • Social Psychology (e.g., interpersonal relationships, motivation, personality)
    • Lifespan Health and Development (e.g., early development, aging, self-regulation)
    • Individualized options (e.g., environmental psychology)
