• The objective of the Master of Science in Management and Professional Accounting program is to educate future leaders of the accounting profession at the master’s level in management and at the professional level in accounting, assurance, tax, finance, performance management, and related subjects such as management skills and professional capabilities.
  • It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
  • The program may be taken in one of three formats depending on the applicant’s business or accounting background:
    • a 27-month format by applicants with no such background
    • Or, a 24-month format by applicants with some background
    • Or, a 12-month format by applicants with extensive, specific background.
  • Each of the three MMPA program formats includes co-op work terms; ​each has been approved as an Accredited Program by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
  • Students will also complete two co-op work placements (MGT1090H and MGT2090H) in accounting or finance-related areas.
