• The University of Regina offers MEng in Industrial Systems Engineering with a duration of 2 years (4 terms) program.
  • This program is offered on a full-time basis.
  • This program contains two options: co-op, or project option.
  • The program requires 30 credits for the completion including the project, but its co-op option requires 42 credits for the completion.
  • The MEng in Industrial Systems Engineering focuses on the following areas of research:
    • Mechanical Behaviour of Materials
    • Material Deformation Processes
    •  Foundations of Solid Mechanics
    • Metallurgy of Welding
    • System Analysis and Synthesis
  • The Master of Engineering degree program with a project report attracts practicing engineers.
  • Students are enrolled in a Co-op route in their program of study and receive a letter from the Co-op office.
  • The major areas of specialization are in manufacturing, control, process engineering, and energy systems. Activities include CAE, Facilities design, Quality control, Performance evaluation of manufacturing systems and many more.
  • The Student to faculty ratio is 20:1 which bridges the gap between the faculty and students.
  • After completing this program, students find jobs in advanced manufacturing, automated systems, design engineering, ergonomics engineering, facilities and equipment engineering, industrial engineering, and many more., etc.
