The Baccalaureat in Religious Studies aims at a fundamental, multidisciplinary and critical scientific formation on the religious phenomenon and on its historical and current diversity. The students are interested in religious traditions as well as in social facts and cultural productions with a strong potential for symbolization. To this end, the program introduces students to the theoretical models practised in the human and social sciences, to the epistemological stakes and to the methods proper to the study of the religious phenomenon; it aims to acquire knowledge that can be mobilized in various contexts of intervention.
