This program aims to train high-calibre graduates in strategic areas of the Earth and Atmospheric Sciences that require multidisciplinary approaches. Taking into account the envelopes of the Earth system, geosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere, as well as their interactions, is both retrospective (evolution of the lithosphere, paleoceanography, and palaeoclimatology) and predictive (modelling of terrestrial systems). It is aimed at applications in the areas of resources, planning, global change, and natural hazard prediction.
