The fundamental objective of this program is to give a solid formation in the disciplines forming the corpus recognized by the community of physicists. It is based on a highly mathematical basis which is, therefore, an essential element of physics education. Within this framework, the program has two specific objectives: firstly, through extensive training, opening the way to higher studies in physics, and secondly, through more general training, allowing professional or academic activities indirectly related to physics, where its capacity solving complex problems will be a very researched skill.
The program, which is characterized by flexibility, therefore comprises a set of compulsory courses representing the essential of physicist training. Subsequently, the student may choose to specialize his or her training in one of the following orientations: astronomy and astrophysics, material physics, life physics, and subatomic physics, or to maintain a polyvalent formation by choosing the general orientation. In addition, internships in the industry offer students the opportunity to acquire practical training in an industrial environment.
