Simon Fraser University offers MBA in four main formats. This includes a full-time MBA, part-time MBA, Executive MBA and MBA in Management of Technology program. MBA programs at Simon Fraser University hold dual accreditations from AACSB and EQUIS.

The part-time MBA Program at Simon Fraser University is offered for a duration of 24 months. At the end of the 24 months, students are required to complete a 4-month work term. Applications for MBA are currently open at Beedie School of Business. International students can apply till round 4.

Course Curriculum

  • For incoming MBA class, SFU Beedie conducts preparation courses such as Excel and Financial accounting. Courses are delivered in an online format and classes for the same start in September.
  • During the Fall semester, students will cover foundational business concepts. In spring semester, students will learn about effective leadership. They will also be working in teams to solve problems.
  • The MBA International Applied Project is a unique part of SFU Beedie MBA program. As part of this program, students will be working on an actual project for an international company in real time.
  • In their final semester, students will be required to take part in a capstone project. This includes a comprehensive strategy simulation called CAPSIM. The simulation will test students on their knowledge of business strategy.

At the end of the 24-month program, students will be required to:

  • Opt for a paid 4-month internship
  • Take up a permanent employment position
  • Launch their own venture
