As a history graduate, students will find work in a variety of sectors of the economy. Employers place a high value on critical thinking, research, and communication skills. As a result, history graduates find meaningful employment in the civil service, university sector, law, business, and consulting. The graduates have found themselves writing speeches for the Prime Minister, managing marketing firms, and working for non-governmental organizations in Africa. They have followed their love of history to graduate school and to positions as teachers, military officers, curriculum designers, museum curators, journalists, and historical consultants around the world.
