• McMaster University offers a Master of Engineering in Entrepreneurship and Innovation for a duration of 20 months.
  • It is an on-campus program offered on both a full-time and a part-time basis.
  • The full program is expected to take 20 months full-time study and students take 32 months for completion of part-time program. students are admitted for September only.
  • Students have to complete 6 compulsory enterprise modules which focus on providing the Master's degree students basic skills to select an idea with good potential, manage the innovation process, then create and manage the business outcome. 
  • Students holding engineering, technology, or science degree who meets eligibility criteria can enroll in the Master’s of Engineering Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MEEI) degree program.
  • Each module is considered the equivalent of a half-course as defined by the School of Graduate Studies.
  • It will contain elements of lecture, group work, presentation and other activities as defined in the course outline.
  • The module courses will be delivered in an intensive format.
  • Students are also required to complete successfully two single-term elective courses (6 units total) from the list of 600 or 700 level courses in the graduate course calendar.
  • Students have to complete the Enterprise project that will run throughout the entire study period and will result in both a business and a viable proof-of-concept.
