Anthropology is the study of humans, past and present. The program combines commitments to the exploration of archaeological, physical, and cultural aspects of human and social beings through a range of approaches with the aim of enabling a fuller understanding of all aspects of humans. Students admitted to the M.A. program have the option of doing coursework and then 1) writing an MRP (1-year), or 2) writing a scholarly thesis (2-year) which demonstrates the ability to conduct original research.
