This program is a leading generalist program in Canada that provides learners with a broad foundation in public and population health science, policy analysis, research methodology, and choice of one of the two-degree track options - thesis and practicum.
The program ensures an adequate supply of public health professionals with the right knowledge, skills, and relevant education and mentorship opportunities to revitalize Canada’s public health system and addresses the vulnerability of our public health infrastructure, and the need for more comprehensive and responsive public health policies and programs.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have a 4-year undergraduate in Sciences or equivalent from a recognized university.
Students have a minimum B+ grade over the final 60 units from an undergraduate program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Completed a 4-year UG degree from a recognized institution.
Or, completed a 3-year UG degree from a recognized University.

Submission of GRE scores is not compulsory for this program, however, if students have given the GRE exam then it is recommended to submit the scores (minimum 300) for a better chance of admission.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
