  • In this program, students will be prepared to work as a technician with practicing veterinarians, researchers, and other professionals who work with animals in medical or scientific environments.
  • Students will take a variety of courses in animal medicine and nursing, clinical exercises and pathology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
  • Students will also learn about large animal practice, lab animals, and alternative pet medicine.

  • University will provide opportunities for students to learn outside the classroom through an off-campus externship.
  • Students can also work in the on-campus animal clinic, where they will learn the skills required to be successful in a companion animal veterinary practice.
  • In future studies, students may include completing a Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) or a Bachelor of Science in BioVeterinary Science.
