Pathology, the study of the essential nature of the disease, uses a wide variety of approaches to elucidate mechanisms responsible for the disease. As a graduate student within the Department of Pathology’s two-year MSc program, students will study the essential nature of disease while also learning to take a wide variety of approaches to discover the mechanisms responsible for the disease. The research areas of the program are:

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students should have completed a 4-year bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
A degree granted by a university of recognized standing is required.
A minimum GPA of at least 3.0/4.33 (B grade) in the last 60 credit hours of study is required.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Completed a 4-year UG degree with an upper second class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.

Following are the required document:

Online application form and fees: Students have to fill the online form and submit the application fees.
Resume: Outline of academic achievements and/or awards, publications, relevant work, and/or volunteer experience.
Two Professional References: Referees (Teachers, guidance counselors, or Professors) should comment on academics, and that references should submit along with the application system.
Personal Statement: It should include a brief overview of themselves, strengths, and any work experience and/or education that students have.
Transcripts: Students have to submit transcripts from all universities/colleges attended, World Education Services Assessments, and English Language Proficiency test scores.
Statement of Intent: Reasons or intentions for pursuing studies in this program, including a description of prior experience.
Confirmation of Employment Form: Students must be emailed as an attachment by the applicant or referee.
Proof of name change: Required only if name discrepancies exist between transcripts/assessments/test scores and other application documents. Examples of proof: Marriage/divorce certificates, 2 copies of government-issued ID that include a previous and current name and date of birth.
ELP Scores: Students have to submit their English language proficiency scores like IELTS, TOEFL, or other test scores.
