• Dalhousie University offers a Bachelor of Science in Economics for a duration of 4 years.

  • The Dalhousie Economics program held the mixed classes of students some of which are deductive, and some of which are more inductive or problem-oriented.

  • The Department of Economics has a large and diverse faculty. As well as teaching, faculty members are advancing research in their fields.
  • They host weekly department seminars most Friday afternoons from September to April. These presentations provide opportunities to share research and ideas with colleagues both from within Dalhousie and from around the world.
  • Students and people from other faculties and departments are welcome and encouraged to attend this seminar.
