Students study the Earth and how it interacts with the atmosphere, oceans, and biosphere, making environmental geoscience one of our most diverse scientific programs. Environmental Geoscience is available at both the BSc and BSc (honors) level. Their curriculum allows students to achieve registration as a professional environmental geoscientist. It includes a core of courses at the first and second-year levels in common with geology majors and diverges at the third-year level to incorporate courses in geochemistry, geophysics, hydrogeology, and environmental science. Outside the Department of Earth and Environmental Science, students will also study biology, chemistry, math, and physics.
