This course is designed for people who want the expertise to understand, analyse and critically assess the increasingly complex problems of international relations and national security.
Students will gain the knowledge and skills to understand contemporary international relations, global trends, diplomacy, security challenges and strategic affairs from an interdisciplinary perspective.
Students can choose to study this course at the graduate certificate, graduate diploma or master degree level. Students who complete the master degree via the dissertation stream to a high standard can apply for doctoral-level studies

Academics

A bachelor degree or equivalent plus at least one year of work experience, or the Graduate Diploma in International Relations and National Security or at least the first four units of that course.

English Language Proficiency

Curtin requires all applicants to demonstrate proficiency in English. Specific English requirements for this course is IELTS exam.

Supplementary documents: Students may be required to provide additional information with the application, depending on which Curtin University course they choose.
ELP Scores: Students have to submit their English language proficiency test scores like IELTS, TOEFL other recognized English test results.
