Victoria University International Scholarships

VU has a range of externally funded and university-funded scholarships to support international students. Some of the Victoria University scholarships offer a stipend covering living allowances and tuition fees, while others provide partial funding. All scholarship applicants must meet VU's academic entry requirements, in addition to any eligibility requirements for their scholarship.

VU Global Leaders Scholarship

Note: English courses, Foundation Studies and VET courses are not eligible for this scholarship.

Pathway to Victoria Scholarship

The Pathway to Victoria Scholarship is available by funding from the Victorian Government through Study Melbourne. It is available to a limited number of newly commencing international students starting an overseas pathway course, before commencing their principal course at Victoria University (VU) in Melbourne. The number of available scholarships to study in Australia is limited.

How to apply: Applications are not required. Students are automatically selected while applying for admission to an eligible course.

Application Deadline: Rolling, Scholarship opened in September 2021.

Value: Up to 2500 AUD (~13.38 lakh INR)

Eligibility:

  • International applicants applying to an English course, Higher Education Diploma (pathway course) or Foundation Studies with a packaged offer into master’s or bachelor’s programs at Victoria University (principal course).
  • Pathway programs should commence from September 2021 onwards, and students need to enrol before the end of 2023 to their principal course.

VU Future Leaders Scholarship

The VU Future Leaders Scholarship (International) supports new international students who plan to commence their higher education diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate studies.

How to apply: Students are required to confirm their willingness to be considered for the scholarship while submitting their admission application for an eligible VU qualification. Scholarship eligibility can only be assessed after the applicant has met the course entry requirements.

VU Alumni Discount

The VU Alumni Discount promotes lasting relationships between Victoria University and its former scholars through this scholarship.

VU Diplomatic Scholarship
