• Student will be provided with advanced education and training in pre-hospital care in an intensive care, extended care or aeromedical and retrieval specialisation.
  • Student will extend studentr clinical practice by initially undertaking specialist paramedic-focused training in advanced clinical leadership and decision making, as well as advanced techniques, in order to provide the highest level of care in studentr chosen specialisation. student will also explore clinical practice within an integrated emergency medical system, and consider the issues and trends that influence scope of practice and service delivery.
  • Student will also study clinical research methodology and may choose to complete a research project or other specialist elective coursework units to enhance studentr clinical skills.
  • Completion of the research stream provides a pathway into higher degrees by research (subject to meeting separate HDR entry requirements.) student may also apply to exit the masters course with one of the nested awards, provided student meet the criteria.
