• A PhD in Education takes the form of the Monash Doctoral Program a PhD for the 21st century. The program enables student to complete extensive, independent research on an agreed topic under the supervision of at least two expert academics.
  • Student research will aim to improve teaching practice and extend students expertise and skills relating to pressing educational issues. The thesis should make a significant contribution to human knowledge and theory, and demonstrate student ability to carry out independent research.
  • The core research project is enhanced by professional development activities or coursework units that provide student with the skills required to make an impact in academia, industry, government or the wider community.
