Graduates of the Master of Professional Archaeology have:
- Advanced and integrated understanding of cultural heritage management for professional practice, research and/or higher learning
- Specialist knowledge and skills in field methods, analysis and interpretation in Aboriginal and historic archaeology in Australia
- Advanced understanding of the application of Aboriginal and historic heritage legislation
- Skills to work in consultation with communities, organisations and as part of a team
