Accommodations are available exclusively for undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as both students. The weekly rent for on-campus accommodation is 245-475 AUD. The accommodation services portal of Australian National University is a centralised portal used to accept applications from all students whether domestic or international. Deadlines for application submissions must be followed. Applications for 2022 open on August 20, 2021. International undergraduate applicants are guaranteed on-campus accommodation and apply by December 20, 2021 for 2022. Admission offers are released on a rolling basis. Davey Lodge 

The UniLodge at ANU - Davey Lodge is located within a short walking distance from the City Centre. It offers accommodation in apartments, multi-sharing with five bedrooms and single occupancy studios.

  • All apartments consist of tables, chairs, common lounge, TVs and couches.
  • The facilities here include internet, parking, secured access, common areas, laundry facility, games room, computer lab, CCTV surveillance, study spaces, etc.
  • Every unit has its own kitchen with a gas burner, refrigerator and microwave.

Fenner Hall

The Fenner Hall on the Acton campus is surrounded by cafes, eateries, medical facilities, bookshop, gyms, swimming pool, galleries, theatres, academic facilities and services.

  • The hall provides laundry facilities, dining, study spaces, social spaces, communal cooking and access to sports, arts, social events, etc.
  • It is a self-catered accommodation with shared bathroom and kitchen, study spaces, common areas, laundry facilities, music facilities, computer lab, secured access, parking, etc.
  • It accommodates up to 450 undergraduates and postgraduates.

Kinloch Lodge

Kinloch Lodge is a self-catered apartment-style accommodation option near the city centre.

  • This accommodation is conveniently located close to shops, banks and food options and well-connected through public transport.
  • It offers a range of accommodation options from single studios to multi-share apartments with kitchens and study desks.
  • It has various facilities such as internet, laundry, study spaces, computer lab, secured access, common areas, parking, games room, music room and BBQ area among other facilities.

Lena Karmel Lodge

Lena Karmel Lodge is located near the city centre and is an apartment-styled self-catered accommodation available for both undergraduate and graduate students. It is a state-of-the-art building featuring a beautiful rooftop garden overlooking the city and Black Mountain tower.

  • It offers apartments with a range of accommodation options from single studios to 6 bedroom apartments.
  • It comprises a gym, games room, music room, common area, rooftop garden, designed staircase as well as an atrium that reduces the building’s carbon footprint.
  • The accommodation includes retail outlets located on the ground floor and a food court that provides a variety of healthy meal options.
  • Each self-contained studio apartment offers a desk, reverse cycle air-conditioning, bed, kitchen, ensuite bathroom and internet connection.

Wamburun Hall

Wamburun Hall is the most recent addition to ANU’s accommodation opened in 2019. It accommodates 500 students in a striking glass building located at the foot of Black Mountain.

  • The residence hall includes communal laundry with washing machines and dryers, dining spaces and spacious shared kitchens.
  • Other common spaces include Junior and Senior Common Room, music rooms, study rooms, movie theatre, community garden beds, etc.
  • Residents get the opportunity to participate in interhall events such as arts, social or sports programs and other events organized by the residential community.

Warrumbul Lodge

Warrumbul Lodge is a well-equipped self-catered accommodation that provides its residents with some of the most modern facilities.

UniGardens

These offer self-contained private or shared rooms and apartments for rent furnished with study areas, private kitchens and bathrooms. Student apartment features include beds, desk and chair, bedside tables, wardrobe with mirrors, flat screen TV, bathroom and kitchen. Access to the games room, free Wi-Fi, BBQ area, study room, gym is free for residents.

Academic House

This accommodation is located close to Lake Burley Griffin and offers a scenic lakeside view. It can accommodate up to 90 students in fully furnished studio and one-bedroom apartments. It is located opposite to the Australian National University campus. It is conveniently located close to restaurants, cafes, shops, healthcare facilities, entertainment venues, etc.

Australian Institute of Sport Residences

The AIS Residences can accommodate up to 200 residents in all group sizes. There are single-room accommodations available with a shared living room and bathroom. Some common facilities include wardrobe, internet connection, small fridge, heater, laundry facility, etc.

UniLodge on Gould

It is an ideal accommodation for postgraduate students located within a 15-minute walk from the city centre. It offers deluxe one bedroom apartments or two bedroom apartments with multi-sharing options. UniLodge at UC - Campus West

It is one of the most affordable options that provides many options such as a one-bedroom apartment to 6 bedroom or even 26 bedroom multi-share apartment. Features of this accommodation include shared kitchen, TV room, small library, table tennis and pool table, leisure activities, etc.

Weeden Lodge

This accommodation offers apartments valued 20% less than the market rate as it is supported by the National Rental Affordability Scheme. The property also provides a variety of facilities such as common area, outdoor facilities, TV lounge, games room, BBQ facility, reading room, laundry, study area, etc.

Applying for on-campus accommodation at the Australian National University is quite easy. All applications are considered only once the application period closes. Accommodation offers are then released on an ongoing basis. Postgraduate coursework students are not guaranteed on campus accommodation but their applications will still be reviewed. Accommodation offers can be offered at any point up to the commencement of classes. Only students with confirmed academic status will receive accommodation offers.
