• The programs offer specializations in Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) and Computational Life Sciences (CLS) for graduate students in participating departments across Colleges of Agriculture, Engineering, Health and Human Sciences, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology. These programs have over 175 students and 150 affiliated faculty from diverse disciplines.
  • CSE curriculum has been designed to provide a broad and interdisciplinary program of the study with a maximum possible flexibility. Students may tailor their programs to their individual needs and explore several training areas.
  • There are two focus areas: Core and Relevant Courses. Core courses are designed to provide a primary focus on various levels of computing, computer programming, algorithms, and parallel computing. Relevant courses are selected by faculty members to enhance the experiences of CSE in specific areas.
