The Electrical and Computer Engineering major offered by Baylor University educates the students in the technical foundations of mathematics, physics, chemistry and computer science along with an engineering course each semester.
Electrical and Computer Engineering is the largest engineering profession in the workforce today. Baylor graduates have gone on to work for many successful and well-known companies, such as Dell, Trance, AT&T, Southwestern Bell, Motorola, Shell, HP and many others. A number of the students choose to continue their engineering education, both at Baylor and other institutions.
The Engineering program offers a unique study abroad opportunity, the i5 Program (Immersion Into International Interdisciplinary Innovation). The program is designed to help students develop science and technology insight, business savvy and global cultural competence through real-world business, engineering, and computer science experiences. Students spend five weeks in China and earn six credit hours.
