Arizona's first and only accredited college of public health, the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health is uniquely situated in the culturally rich and diverse Southwest. The Public Health major combines foundations in biology, chemistry, nutrition, and communications with coursework in epidemiology, health education, statistics, and health care systems as well as specialized study in the Environmental and Occupational, Health Behaviors, or Health Delivery tracks. Graduates may work as educators, advocates, program coordinators, researchers, policy advisors, health communications professionals, or safety specialists. This major is also excellent preparation for medical, law, pharmacy, or nursing school or graduate studies in public health, public policy, geography, social work, or family and consumer sciences.
