We have recently added a Capstone course for seniors that synthesizes the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary core curriculum with the experiential learning of study abroad. All students are required to complete the University General Education requirements as well as their major requirements. Students are also required to study abroad and take a cross cultural orientation course before they go (Cross Cultural Training I) and a reentry course when they return, (Cross Cultural Training II). Additionally, all students study a foreign language, choosing from French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, German*, and Arabic. Many students learn other languages abroad.
