Master of Arts in Music at the University of Pacific is a 2-year program.
It is an on-campus program offered on a both full-time and a part-time basis.
This is a graduate-level program designed for students with an undergraduate degree in music or fields related to music therapy (e.g., psychology, special education, etc.) who seek both entry- and advanced-level training in music therapy.
During the first two years, students focus on the completion of all entry-level music therapy courses, fieldwork, and competencies, as well as some graduate-level courses.
Students have to complete a clinical internship and sit for the CBMT exam.
After the internship, students return to the university to complete graduate coursework, advanced clinical work, and a culminating graduate project (e.g., thesis or clinical clerkship portfolio).

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have an undergraduate degree in any field from a recognized university.
A cumulative GPA of 3.5 is required on a 4.0 scale.
Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Students need to have a minimum of first-class or upper Second with a minimum of 60-80% on an institutional basis.
