At Georgia Southern, our students explore the process of taking raw materials to finished products in the Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design degree program. You learn how to produce everything from jewelry to cosmetics to furniture. You also learn how to work with consumers. All of these skills are developed through coursework that focuses on research and development, styling and design, production, and marketing.
Experience a broad liberal education with a focus on diverse career outcomes in areas such as textiles, apparel production and fashion industries. You receive specialized training in:

Instruction exposes our students to field experiences, internships and study tours to both the Atlanta and New York fashion markets, giving you a well-rounded education.
