The exercise physiology major studies physiological effects on the human organism under different intensities, durations and environments. As an introductory course, the focus will be on major biological concepts relating to molecular and cellular biology and genetics. Lecture and laboratory. Intended for students majoring in science related disciplines.
Exploring Molecular Biology will examine the structure and function of nucleic acids and proteins. The molecular mechanisms of replication, transcription, mRNA processing and translation will be emphasized. In addition, regulation of these processes will be explored. Lecture and laboratory. Intended for students majoring in biology or related disciplines.
Along with Human Physiology that will examines the organization and function of the human body as a whole and the interrelations of its various systems, organs, tissues, and cells.
