Master of Public Administration at the University of Illinois is a 2 years program.
It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
The Master of Public Health degree requires the successful completion of 48 semester hours of course work, which includes a four-hour internship.
The department offers two options for graduate-level study in public health:
- a generalist MPH degree (MPH)
- MPH with a concentration in Environmental Health (MPH – EH)
The department also offers a professional option for physicians and others with earned doctorates and two options for joint study degrees: Master of Public Health with a Master of Public Administration (MPH/MPA) and Master of Public Health with a Master of Human Services (MPH/HMS).
The curriculum is designed to provide students with the academic background necessary to meet core competencies in environmental and public health.

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have an honours undergraduate degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
A minimum overall GPA of 3.00 for previous academic work is required.
Background in natural sciences is recommended.
Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Students need to have a minimum of first-class or upper Second with a minimum of 60-80% on an institutional basis.
