• The Albers School of Business and Economics offers a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree with a major in Management to provide students with the skills that companies in Seattle’s growing economy look for in their managers. Companies and organizations focus on differentiating themselves in today’s competitive environments, just as employees constantly strive to demonstrate their own value. Management skills are at the center of integrating the needs of companies and the individual.
  • The Management major will help students gain a strategic management perspective and the knowledge to structure organizations to meet profit and social responsibility goals. At the same time, students will become qualified in important communication and management skills to recruit, retain, and guide individuals and teams to support successful companies and organizations. In addition to required courses in leadership and human resource management, customize the major to suit student’s personal interests with electives in:
    • International Management

    • Entrepreneurship

    • Team Building

  • The department grounds students in both soft and hard skills so they have the emotional and technical knowledge they need to navigate a variety of complex workplaces. In a holistic program, the Management major helps students build the insight to serve the needs of the individual and the understanding to manage a successful department.
