Master of Public Health is a 16-month program offered on a full-time basis.
This is a 42-semester unit, the cohort-based accelerated program that requires 16 months of study (6 units every 8 weeks) including the summer semester.
The program includes seven common core courses with the remaining courses specific to the program concentration offered.
The Department of Public Health offers four options for the MPH degree program:
- Master of Public Health: Health Promotion and Health Education (Face-to-Face)
- Master of Public Health: Health Promotion and Health Education (Online)
- Master of Public Health: Global Health (Face-to-Face)
- Master of Public Health: Global Health (Online)
This program prepares students as practitioners of public health and as leaders in public and private sector agencies and organizations.

Academic Eligibility:

Students must complete a four-year college course of study and hold a baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association, or have completed equivalent academic preparation as determined by appropriate campus authorities.
Students must be good in academic standing at the last college or university attended.
A grade point average of at least 2.5 in the last 60 semesters (90 quarters) is required.
Satisfactorily meet the professional, personal, scholastic, and other standards for graduate study, including qualifying examinations, as determined by each graduate program.

Following are the required documents of the program:

Copy of official transcript(s) from all college work.
Two letters of recommendation from persons familiar with the student’s academic qualifications and/or professional experience relevant to the MPH degree.
A 300-500 word narrative statement describing how the program relates to the applicant's professional goals.
A current resume demonstrating experience (paid or volunteer) in public health, health education, health science, or a related area if Bachelor’s degree is not in a health-related area.
Submission of English Language Exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE, etc.
